GenPro revolutionizes cancer treatment

NEWARK, Del. – Genome Profiling, or GenPro, a biotech medical startup, is changing the game in cancer treatment. Using an advanced software analytics platform, GenPro is able to identify the genetic signatures of various cancers and other diseases, perhaps diagnosing cancer years prior to tumors actually materializing.

In addition to diagnosing, Jeb Connor and Adam Marsh, GenPro’s cofounders, claim their technology could help physicians tailor a treatment plan so precise that it could eliminate all guess work involved in the current state of chemotherapy and radiation. Ultimately, this would lead to more patients surviving the disease and overall increasing their quality of life.

This past spring, Genome Profiling was one of the first biotech firms to join the Christiana Care Health System’s Center for Translational Cancer Research in the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute in Christiana.
