Alpha Technologies bringing 200 jobs to Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. — Alpha Technologies USA has purchased an office building in Wilmington, and is expected to bring an estimated 200 jobs to the city over the next few years. The company, headquartered in Pennsylvania, provides information technology managed services.

The six-story, 87,000-square-foot property will be used for several operations. Alpha will establish a training center and a Center of Excellence to manage its on-shore-off-site operations. The office property was an attractive investment for Alpha Technologies and provided space for immediate occupancy.

Alpha considered the city’s high-speed internet infrastructure when deciding to expand to Wilmington. Also, the property is within walking distance to a train station and newly constructed apartments – giving employees at the training center a living option.

According to its website, Alpha provides full-scale, state-of-the-art IT solutions. Its focus is on application support, software development, staff augmentation, system integration, infrastructure maintenance, business continuity, data center maintenance and relocation services.
